START LINE Command
START LINE Command
The START LINE command initiates the operation of the LINE object. When the
subsystem has successfully completed processing this command, the LINE object is
placed in the STARTED summary state.
If the ATM address was not previously specified, the address will be created during the
START LINE process.
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
LINE line-name
specifies the LINE name to be placed in the STARTED state.
SUB { ALL | NONE | ONLY }
selects the subordinate objects the command affects.
ALL
specifies that the named object and the subordinate objects are affected.
NONE
specifies that the name object is affected but that the subordinate objects are
not.
Default: None.
ONLY
specifies that only the subordinate objects are affected.
Example
This example starts the line named $ATM:
-> START LINE $AM1
START [/OUT file-spec / ] [ LINE line-name ]
[ SUB { ALL | NONE | ONLY } ]
