Example
PVC pvc-name
specifies the name of the PVC. The pvc-name is associated with the ATMSAP
name. Pvc-name is the name assigned by the adapter to identify the circuit. The
pvc-name consists of up to eight alphanumeric characters with a leading
alphabetic character; for example, $AM1.#IP.PVC0.
VPI { 0-255 }
specifies the virtual path identifier (VPI).
Value: 0 through 255.
Default: Required.
VCI { 32-3071 }
specifies the virtual circuit identifier (ID).
Value: 32 through 3071.
Default: Required.
Example
This example shows the ADD PVC command:
-> ADD PVC $ATM.#IP.PVC01, VPI 1, VCI 33
START PVC Command
Start the PVC object by using the ATM subsystem SCF START PVC command.
PVC pvc-name
is the name of the PVC to be started.
Example
This command starts the PVC object:
-> START PVC $AM1.#IP.PVC1
