SCF Menu-Mode Help

The menu-mode help facility presents a series of menus with options. Menu-mode help

is for interactive mode only. You invoke it by entering the HELP command without any

parameters. After menu-mode help is invoked, you can exit at any prompt by entering

QUIT or by pressing Ctrl-Y. Either of these entries returns you to the SCF prompt.

At the HELP SCF: prompt, you can type one of the following:

If you press RETURN, SCF redisplays its HELP SCF: prompt.

Option Result

command-name Displays subsystem-specific information about the specified

command and returns to this menu

error-number Displays information about the specified error number and returns to

this menu

object-type Displays subsystem-specific information about the specified object

type and returns to this menu

MAIN Returns the Main Menu prompt

QUIT Exits from help and returns to the SCF prompt

RETURN Returns to the Main Menu
