ABORT PVC Command
Examples
These examples show the ABORT LINE command:
-> ABORT LINE $AM1
-> ABORT LINE ($AM1,$AM2)
-> ABORT LINE $AM1, SUB ALL
ABORT PVC Command
The ABORT PVC command terminates the operation of a PVC and places the PVC
object in the STOPPED summary state.
This is a sensitive command.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
PVC pvc-name
specifies the name of the PVC to be aborted. The PVC name has the form $line-
name.#atmsap-name.pvc-name. The #atmsap-name is preconfigured with the
name #IP.
Considerations
•
The PVC is unbound.
•
While in the STOPPED summary state, all bind requests are rejected.
Examples
These examples show the ABORT PVC command:
-> ABORT PVC $AM1.#IP.PVC0001
-> ABORT PVC ($AM1.#IP.PVC0001, $ATM.#IP.PVC0001)
-> ABORT PVC $AM1.#IP.PVC*
