ABORT SVC Command
ABORT SVC Command
The ABORT SVC command terminates the operation of an SVC and deletes the SVC
object from the subsystem.
This is a sensitive command.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
SVC svc-name
specifies the name of the SVC to be aborted. The SVC name has the form $line-
name.#atmsap-name.svc-name. The #atmsap-name is preconfigured with the
name #IP.
Considerations
The ABORT SVC command releases the SVCs.
Examples
These examples show the ABORT SVC command:
-> ABORT SVC $AM1.#IP.SVC0001
-> ABORT SVC ($AM1.#IP.SVC0001, $ATM.#IP.SVC0002)
-> ABORT SVC $AM1.#IP.SVC*
