ADD Command

The ADD command defines an object to the ATM subsystem. The fully qualified name

assigned to the created object must be unique.

If an attribute for a given object is not assigned a value in the ADD command, the

attribute's default value is used. However, some attributes do not have default values

and must be assigned values in the ADD command.

This is a sensitive command.

The ADD command is supported for the following ATM subsystem objects:

ADAPTER

•

PVC

ADD ADAPTER Command

The ADD ADAPTER command adds an ADAPTER object to the ATM subsystem

including adding ADAPTER information to the OSCONFIG file.
