ALTER Command
Considerations
•
The name of the PVC includes the name of the ATMSAP or SAP with which the
PVC is associated.
•
The initial state of the object after being added is the STOPPED summary state.
Example
This example shows the ADD PVC command:
-> ADD PVC $AM1.#IP.PVC01, VPI 1, VCI 33
ALTER Command
The ALTER command is used to alter the attributes of an object to the ATM
subsystem. This is a sensitive command.
The ALTER command is supported for the following ATM subsystem objects:

ADAPTER
•
LINE
•
PVC

ALTER ADAPTER Command
The ALTER ADAPTER command changes the value of one or more attributes of the
ADAPTER object.
This command takes effect immediately.
