ALTER LINE Command
DFC digit 1-50
specifies how many packets the adapter receives before sending them to the host.
If the DFC is set to 1, packets are forwarded immediately, and DFT is disabled.
The default is 2.
DFT (1-200)/1000th seconds
specifies how many milliseconds the adapter waits before packets are sent to the
host. The default is 1.
Considerations
A valid ADAPTER name must be specified.
ADAPTER names have the form $adapter-name, where adapter-name
consists of up to three alphanumeric characters with a leading alphabetic
character, for example, $AM1.
The ADAPTER must be in a STOPPED state.
Example
This example shows the ALTER ADAPTER command:
-> ALTER ADAPTER $AM1, DUMPFILENAME $DATA00.ATMDUMP.DUMP00
ALTER LINE Command
The ALTER LINE command changes the value of one or more attributes of the LINE
object. The LINE object must be in a STOPPED state.
This is a sensitive command.
