DELETE Command
Considerations
The PVC must be in a STOPPED summary state.
Example
This example shows the ALTER PVC command:

DELETE Command
The DELETE command deletes an object from the ATM subsystem.
This is a sensitive command.
The DELETE command is supported for the following ATM subsystem objects:

ADAPTER
•
PVC
Considerations
•
Before you can delete an object the object must be in the STOPPED summary
state.

All user added subordinate objects must first be deleted.

DELETE ADAPTER Command
The DELETE ADAPTER command deletes an adapter and its subordinated objects
from the ATM subsystem. The ADAPTER object must be in a STOPPED state.
This is a sensitive command.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
DELETE [/OUT file-spec/] ADAPTER adapter-name
[, SUB { ALL | NONE | ONLY } ]
