Uninstalling HP NonStop ATM Transaction Analyzer 120
6-3 Uninstalling ATM/TA Database
Follow the steps given below to uninstall the ATM/TA Database components from the workstation.
NOTE: Before continuing please ensure that the ATM/TA Application Server is uninstalled. If the machine has
Terminal Server installed, make sure that the User session is in the install mode during uninstallation. To
change the mode, type “change user /install” at the command prompt or use Control Panel - Add or Remove
Programs to uninstall ATM/TA Database.
Step A: Starting Up
Click on the Start\Programs\HP SST\ATM TA\Database Uninstall Database menu option to start the
uninstallation process
Step B: Uninstall ATM Transaction Analyzer Application Server
Selecting the Uninstall Database Server option displays the ATM Transaction Analyzer Database message box
with the information that the ATM/TA Application Server needs to be uninstalled if it is installed. Click on the OK
button to continue.

Step C: Remove All Installed Components
The ATM Transaction Analyzer Database Installation confirmation box is displayed asking confirmation for
removing the application and its features.

Click on the Yes button to continue with the uninstallation procedure.
Step E: Rebooting the System
It is recommended to reboot the system for proper functioning. The ATM Transaction Analyzer Database
Uninstallation message box is displayed with the information that the ATMTA database will have to be removed
manually from the SQL Server database where it was installed.

Click on the OK button to continue.
NOTE: Clicking on the OK button does NOT reboot the system. It is recommended to reboot the system after
uninstalling the ATM/TA Database.
NOTE: You will have to remove the ‘ATMTA’ database and the ‘MAINTENANCE_JOB_ATMTA’ job manually
from the Microsoft SQL Server.
