What Is Pathway/XM?
The PXMCOM process provides:
Creation of instances of NonStop TS/MP objects such as a logical node of multiple
processors
Configuration management and operational management of multiple instances of
objects such as PATHMON processes, in place of the PATHCOM process
Request queuing and queue management
Statistics gathering from multiple Pathway/XM objects
Automatic load balancing during failover conditions
The SuperCTL file contains descriptions of the objects managed through PXMCOM
and is created offline using a batch utility.
