environments.
Using SPI Programming to Generate Events
To use the full capabilities of EMS, you must generate event messages from your
application using SPI programming techniques. Two sets of procedures are available
for this purpose:

SPI procedures
•
EMS procedures
DDL source DDL definitions based on the parameters in your ACF and on
the corresponding source definitions for the C, COBOL85, and
TAL programming languages.
