Parallel Hardware Components
Interprocessor Communications
Each S-series and NS-series processor is connected to all other processors by a pair
of high-speed ServerNet fabrics. Each K-series processor is connected to all other
processors by a pair of high-speed interprocessor buses.
Each fabric or bus operates independently and simultaneously with the other fabric or
bus in the pair. The use of a pair ensures that two data paths exist between all
processors in the server.
