Standards and Application Integration
For more information about Web services see Standards and Web Services on
page 3-9.
Enterprise Application Integration is important because:
Integration is one of the top customer challenges, consuming up to 40 percent of
total IT budgets. It has been shown that EAI alone doesn't generate expected ROI
for companies. When EAI is combined with data integration and operational data
store (ODS)-ZLE style integration, it enables true business value to be created.
For more information on the HP ZLE Data Store, see the NonStop Systems
Introduction.
NonStop Data Transformation Engine (DTE) Software enables high-performance
message transformations and routing-key integration functions. It is fully integrated
with NonStop SQL, NonStop Tuxedo, NonStop CORBA Software, IBM WebSphere
MQ (formerly MQSeries) on NonStop servers and Java. It can be used as a
standalone or in combination with other ZLE products such as the Real Time
Information Director (RTID).
The recent release of BEA WebLogic Integration 8.1 on NonStop servers provides
true BPM functionality based on the standard BPEL and integration based on JCA.
This enables management of ZLE solutions such as Real Time Financial Services
