Considerations and Limitations of the TMF Management Interfaces
Section 4, “Making Application Subsystem Changes Online,” describes the changes you
can make to NonStop TM/MP online, including which types of changes can affect
system and application availability.
TMFCOM Command Example
The following example shows how you would use TMFCOM to alter the configured
attribute values of an audit trail.
Use the TMFCOM ALTER command to alter audit-trail attributes. The following
command adds an active audit volume and increases the number of files for the volume
to 6 for the AUX02 audit trail:
~ALTER AUDITTRAIL AUX02, ADDACTIVEVOL $AUDIT2, &
~ FILESPERVOLUME 6
Where to Find More Information
The NonStop TM/MP Reference Manual describes the syntax and semantics of all
TMFCOM commands. Programmatic management of the TMF subsystem is described
in the NonStop TM/MP Management Programming Manual.
