RSC Changes You Can Perform Online
Administrators configure and control the TDP and the RSC environment by using the
Remote Server Call command interface (RSCCOM).
All dynamic modifications to the TDP are temporary. When the TDP is stopped and
restarted, TDP object attributes are reset to the system defaults. To retain modifications,
you must place values in a configuration file that can be reexecuted at each startup using
the STARTRSC OBEY file.
For more information on managing RSC objects, see the Remote Server Call (RSC)
Installation and Management Guide.
GDSX Requester Changes You Can Perform Online
Administrators can use the Subsystem Control Facility (SCF) to configure and manage a
GDSX communications subsystem. Administrators can also use the SPI to write
management programming applications that automate various system management and
error-handling tasks.
For information on using SCF to manage GDSX, see the SCF Reference Manual for
GDSX.
For information about using SPI to write management applications to manage GDSX,
see the GDS Management Programming Manual.
