Configuring Accounting Properties
Configuring Accounting Properties
Accounting records track remote users by user name, time and date of login, length of 
time before logging out, port number, and protocol used. Information in an accounting 
record file can be exported to any database program for more detailed processing and 
reporting. 
To configure accounting properties, choose Properties... from the Server Characteristics 
and Properties menu and then click the Accounting index tab. The Accounting index tab 
dialog box is displayed as shown in Figure 6-9
.
You can change the following accounting properties:
•
Maximum number of entries allowed
•
Accounting record file creation
Changing the Maximum Number of Accounting Record Entries 
Allowed
To change the maximum number of accounting record entries allowed, type a number in 
the Maximum number of entries allowed text box. The Current number of entries text 
box displays current number of accounting records.
