Creating an Accounting Record File

To save accounting information to an ASCII accounting record file, enable the Save To

File check box and then click Name... to specify the name and location of the

accounting record file. The Accounting Record File dialog box is displayed as shown in

Figure 6-7

To specify the accounting record file you want to create:

1. Type a file name in the File name text box. (Accounting record files must be saved

with a .ACR extension.)

2. Specify the drive where you want the accounting record file to be stored by selecting

a drive from the Drives drop-down list box.

3. Specify the folder where you want the accounting record file to be stored by

selecting a folder from the Folders list box.

4. Click OK to save the file.

You can also map a network drive by clicking Network. The Map Network Drive dialog

box is displayed as shown in Figure 6-11
