Sample Configurations
This subsection shows sample remote-node access, remote-office access, and remote-
control access configurations.
Remote-Node Access Configuration
Figure 9-1 shows an AWAN access server in a remote-node access configuration. In this
example, a personal computer (PC) can dial into a modem on the AWAN access server.
By using the proper software, the PC can simultaneously use 6530 terminal emulation,
Web servers, and client/server applications that employ Remote Server Call (RSC) and
NonStop ODBC on the Himalaya NonStop server.
