If You Are Using INT14 to NASI Redirector for DOS
You can use the INT14 to NASI Redirector for DOS with any terminal emulator or other
communications software that supports the NASI Interrupt 14 communications
interface. To use a modem on the AWAN access server for dial-out, configure your
communications software as follows:
1. Choose NASI as your communications interface. How you select NASI will depend
on the communications package you are using. The device name may be shown as
NASI or Network Communications Services Interface (NCSI).
2. Choose the NASI service to use, or configure the application to prompt for the
service when you connect. Be sure to specify a dial-out port on the AWAN access
server. See your communications software documentation for information on how to
select a service when using NASI.
3. Choose the modem type for the modem that is attached to the AWAN access server.
Your communications software must be able to initialize the modem, so you must
choose the correct modem type.
