Step Action Comments
1. Set the disconnect and idle timeouts
for the AWAN access server by
typing values in the text boxes
provided in the Disconnect area.
The disconnect timeout causes a user to be
disconnected from a port after a specific
number of minutes whether or not the port is
active. The idle timeout disconnects a port if
it is idle for a specified number of minutes.
Default: Zero minutes for both timeouts.
2. Choose a dialback mode from the
Dialback drop-down list box.
You can choose from three dialback modes
as follows:
Deny—dialback is not allowed. (This is
the default.)
Allow—dialback will be performed only
if the user requests it.
Required—dialback must always be
performed.
3. Click OK.
