Configuring NetWare Bindery Authorization
Configuring NetWare Bindery Authorization
To enable NetWare Bindery authorization, choose Properties... from the Server
Characteristics and Properties menu. The Properties screen is displayed with the General
tab active. Click on the Security tab to display the Security tab dialog box. The Security
tab dialog box is shown in Figure 13-6
.
Save and store your configuration changes as described in Saving a Configuration File
on page 5-27 and Storing a Configuration File on page 5-29.

Step Action Comments
1. Choose NetWare Bindery from the
drop-down list box.
2. Click the Authentication option button. Authorization for NetWare Bindery is the
default template.
3. Type the name of the NetWare server
that will be used to provide
authentication (user name and
password) in the Server text box.
An example might be NW004.
4. Click Test to determine if the NetWare
Bindery server is available.
If the server is available, the status changes
from unreachable to reachable.You should
always test the status of the server.
5. Click OK.
