Step Action Comments
4. To modify the user name, type a new
user name in the Name text box.
Format: A user name may be a
maximum of 15 characters long.
5. To modify the password, type a new
password in the Password text box.
Format: A user password must be a
minimum of 6 and may be a maximum of
15 characters long. Passwords are case-
sensitive.
6. To modify the description, type a new
description of the user in the
Description text box.
7. To modify the protocols enabled for the
user, click the Protocols tab.
To modify user security, click the
Security tab.
Enabling protocols for a user is described
in Step 2: Enabling Protocols for a User
on page 7-10.
Configuring user security is described in
Step 3: Configuring User Security on
page 7-11.
8. Click OK. The User Database dialog box is
displayed as shown in Figure 14-4.
