Ping Command

Use this command to test IP connectivity to Ethernet TCP/IP nodes.

ip-address

is the IP address of the node to which you want to test connectivity.

Logout Port Command

Use this command to reset a specified port:

port-list

specifies the physical port or ports on the AWAN access server that you want to

reset. If this parameter is omitted, the current port is reset.

Ping ip-address

Logout [ Port port-list ]

Note. The Logout Port command is a privileged command when a port number is specified. It

performs the same function as the Port Reset dialog box. For more information about the Port

Reset dialog box, refer to Resetting a Port on page 14-18.
