IP Address Commands
An IP address can be assigned to the AWAN access server by the Change Internet
Address command, on the IP index tab dialog box in the RAS Management Tool, by a
DHCP server, or by the RAS Management Tool BOOTP Service.
Change Internet Address Command
Use this command to change the IP address for the AWAN access server:
ip-address
is the IP address for the AWAN access server.
Change Internet Mask Command
Use this command to change the subnet mask for the AWAN access server:
ip-address
is the subnet mask for the AWAN access server. The default is zero, the value
assigned by a DHCP server, or the value assigned by the RAS Management Tool
BOOTP service.
Show Internet Gateway Command
Use this command to display information about gateways:
The default gateway IP address is zero or the value assigned by a gateway on the
network.
Show Internet Name Resolution Command
Use this command to display information about a domain name server (DNS):
The default domain name server (DNS) IP address is zero (no DNS in the network).
Change Internet Address ip-address
Note. A default subnet mask is automatically assigned by a DHCP server or by the RAS
Management Tool BOOTP Service.
