Port Properties Commands
EVEN
is used to specify even parity. This is the default value for all ports except for
modem port module ports.
NONE
is used to specify no parity. This is the default value for modem port modules ports.
Change Port Char Size Command
Use this command to change the character size for a specified port.
port-list
specifies the physical port or ports on the AWAN access server. If this parameter is
omitted, the current port is assumed.

specifies character size 7. This is the default value for all ports except for modem
port module ports.

specifies character size 8. This is the default value for modem port module ports.
Change Port Flow Control Command
Use this command to change the input and output flow control for a specified port.
port-list
specifies the physical port or ports on the AWAN access server. If this parameter is
omitted, the current port is assumed.
None
specifies no flow control.
Note. When changing the current port, use the Change Port Parity command to change the
AWAN access server setting first and then change the terminal or emulator to match.
