Port Properties Commands
CTS
specifies CTS flow control. This is the default value for modem port module ports.
XON
specifies XON flow control. This is the default value for all ports except for modem
port module ports.
Show Port Command
Use this command to display current configuration settings for a specified port.
port-list
specifies the physical port or ports on the AWAN access server for which you want
to display configuration settings. If this parameter is omitted, the settings for the
current port are displayed.
The following are considerations for the Show Port command:

Use the List Port command to display permanent configuration settings for a port.
Current settings can be different from permanent settings as a result of Set Port
commands. For more information about the List Port command, refer to List Port
Command on page C-29.

Flow Control is set to None when the 6530 terminal type is detected or assumed
because the 6530 protocol does not use XON or CTS flow control. Flow Control is
returned to its permanent setting at the end of the session.
•
For current loop port modules, the setting of the interface is displayed as RS232 or
CL.
•
All current port settings are reset to their permanent settings at port logout time.
•
The Show Port command displays some information that is not used by the 6530
protocol. This information should be ignored.
Note. When changing the current port, use the Change Port Flow Control command to
change the AWAN access server setting first and then change the terminal or emulator to
match.
Note. The Show Port command displays information that is shown on the Line and Adv. Line
tab dialog boxes.
