Command Examples
The port L0 commands consist of the following commands:
The parameters for port L0 commands have the same meanings as those described for
physical asynchronous ports. Refer to Port Advanced Line Commands
on page C-23 for
more information.

Example 1: Configuring an Automatic Connection to TACL

Example 1: Configuring an Automatic Connection to TACL
In this example, the Autoconnect feature is configured for ports 1 through 64. The IP
address for the Tandem NonStop server is 128.1.2.220 and the service name is TACL.
Change Port 1-64 Preferred 128.1.2.220 Node TACL
Change Port 1-64 Autconnect Enabled
Example 2: Configuring an Automatic Connection to an SU
Window
In this example, the Autoconnect feature is configured for ports 1 through 4. The host
name of the Tandem NonStop server is TDM, the alternate TCP port 1500 is used, and
the window names are #WIN01 through #WIN04.
Change Port 1-4 Autoconnect Enabled
Change Port 1 Preferred TDM Node #WIN01 Port 1500
Change Port 2 Preferred TDM Node #WIN02 Port 1500
Change Port 3 Preferred TDM Node #WIN03 Port 1500

Note. The Change Port command should not be used without a port name for remote Telnet
ports.
