Using Online Help

The RAS Management Tool includes an extensive online help facility. You can obtain

help in the following ways:

Display help information for the current dialog box.

Modify the information selected on the current dialog box.

Apply configuration changes and exit the current dialog box.

To... Perform this task...

Choose topics from a table

of contents or search for

help by entering a keyword

Choose Help from the RAS Management Tool menu bar.

Get help for a dialog box Click Help in the dialog box.

Get context-sensitive help

for a text box

Move your cursor over the text box you want help about and

press the F1 key.

Get help from Windows Windows 3.11 or Window NT 3.51: Double-click on RAS

Help in the RAS Management program group.

Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0: Choose Start> Programs>

RAS Management> RAS Help.

Get help for a menu

selection

Move your cursor over the menu selection and look at the

status bar. An explanation of the menu selection is displayed

on the leftmost side of the status bar.

Note. If you see a question mark in the upper right corner of a dialog box, you can click on it to

obtain help information.
