Customizing the RAS Management Tool
You can customize the operation of the RAS Management Tool by choosing Options
from the Options pull-down menu on the RAS Management Tool menu bar. The Options
pull-down menu is shown in Figure 5-15
.
This subsection describes the Discovery, Polling, and User Preferences options. The
remaining options are described in the following subsections:
Configuring the Discovery Option
The Discovery option enables you to
•
Set the time the RAS Management Tool will wait before flagging a previously
discovered AWAN access server as undiscoverable
•
Stop the RAS Management Startup dialog box from being displayed when the RAS
Management Tool is started
•
Enable and disable automatic discovery
To configure the Discovery option, choose Discovery... from the Options pull-down
menu. The Discovery Options dialog box is displayed as shown in Figure 5-16
.
