SNMP Timer
SNMP Timer
Using an ASCII editor or Notepad, you can edit the c:\windows\rasmgmt.ini file
and add a SNMP_Timer parameter. This parameter controls SNMP request timing.
Under the [Options] line, add a line containing the following:
SNMP_Timer=nnn
Where nnn is in approximately 0.030 (30 millisecond) units. The default value of 1000
represents approximately 3 seconds. This SNMP_Timer parameter might improve
operation when there are many routers, especially with slow links, between the AWAN
GUI and the AWAN device. Conversely, raising this value can negatively affect all
AWAN GUI operation.
