Storing a Configuration File
Storing a Configuration File
You can store a copy of your AWAN access server configuration settings, port
configuration property settings, user database settings, or services settings in a .CFG file
on the hard drive of the management workstation or other workstation in the network. A
.CFG file can be used to restore these settings if the AWAN access server is reset to
factory defaults.
To store configuration information to a .CFG file, choose Store from the Server
Characteristics and Properties menu. The Configuration - Store dialog box is displayed
as shown in Figure 5-24
.
Specify the type of configuration information you want to save by clicking the check
box next to the appropriate option. You must select at least one option. Only the
information with corresponding boxes checked is saved. As shown in Figure 5-24
, put
checks by the following options:

Server
•
Port Parameters
•
Services
Chose OK to store the configuration.
If the Services option appears grayed out, or inactive, when you click OK to begin a
Store operation, the following warning appears:
