FCC Regulation Part 15
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference with the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the
user will be required to correct the interference at the user’s own expense.
Changes, modifications by the installer or user not expressly approved by Compaq
Computers could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
If this equipment does cause interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct
the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Re-orient the receiving antenna.
Relocate the equipment with respect to the receiver.
Move the equipment away from the receiver.
Plug the equipment into a different outlet so that the equipment and receiver are on
different circuits.
Ensure that adapter connections are tightly secured.
If peripherals not offered by the vendor are used with equipment, it is suggested that
you use shielded, grounded cables, with in-line filters necessary.

In the event of equipment malfunction, all repairs should be performed by Compaq
Computers, or an authorized agent. It is the responsibility of users requiring service to
report the need for service to Compaq or to an authorized agent. For complete repair

shipping carton.

WARNING. To comply with FCC regulations on electromagnetic interference for Class A
computing equipment, all cables must be properly shielded and grounded. Using substitute
cables that are not properly shielded and grounded may result in violation of the FCC
regulation.
