You can use any standard Telnet client, including the Telnet client that is provided with
Microsoft Windows to access the AWAN server.
1. From either the MSDOS prompt in a Command window or from Windows
Start>Run, type and enter either:

following Telnet command:
2. At first, wait a few seconds, then press the Enter key once. The following prompt
appears:

3. Type the password access in lowercase letters and press Enter.

4. At first, no text response is echoed on the screen. Then, several welcome lines are
displayed. The following prompt appears:

5. Type one or more alpha characters and press Enter:

The Local> prompt appears. CLI commands, including SET PRIV may now be used.
