VERIFYTAPE Job Option
ON
verifies the integrity of data on tape.
OFF
does not verify the integrity of data on tape.
Guideline
You do not need to use the VERIFYTAPE ON option unless you also specify the
LISTONLY ON or LISTONLY DETAIL. When you restore objects, the data is always
verified as it is restored.
