Using BRCOM to Display Current Status for a Job
To quickly check the status of a job, use the STATUS JOB, BRIEF command. BRIEF is
the default, so it does not have to be specified. For example, these two commands are
equivalent:
BR> STATUS JOB zbr005be, BRIEF;
BR> STATUS JOB zbr005be ;

Field Description
JOB The ID of the job for which status information was
retrieved.
Owner The owner of the job.

The operation being performed:
Backup
Parallel Backup (H-series only)
Restore
Backcopy (H-series only)

DMA Proc The process name of the DMA.
