CORBA 2.3 Update 3 README

2. Stop the 'NSDAdminServer' process (by default, $zdas)
and the 'NSDEnvironServer' process. Make sure that
NSDSRL file is NOT opened by any other processes.
3. Using IP setup, transfer the B12 files to the same ISV
of the previous install.
4. Install with the installer. Leave the "new installation"
check box unchecked on the installer GUI/ this will leave
the etc directory untouched and the previous settings and
the databases will be left intact from the previous
installation (i.e. NSDCFGDB, NAMINGDB, nsdom.ir, env.sh).
5. Restart the CORBA services from the console.
6. For C++ applications, IDL files must be re-IDL compiled
with the new IDL compiler. All source must be recompiled.
7. For Java applications, the IDL files must be re-IDL
compiled with the new IDL compiler. All sources must be
recompiled using NonStop Server for Java Version 2.0.
8. Java applications need to add jorb.jar and jts.jar
(if needed) explicitly into the CLASSPATH, since they
are now placed into $NSD_ROOT/lib, instead of
$JAVA_HOME/lib.
9. Delete $JAVA_HOME/lib/jorb.jar and $JAVA_HOME/lib/jts.jar.
XII. JORB Lite installation and configuration instructions
1. Execute the file WS_SW\JORBLITE.EXE on your CD by double
clicking on it in the Explorer. You will be prompted for a
directory where you want to place the files. The default
directory is "c:\jorblite". If you want to enter a different
directory name, do so and continue. Note that the installer will
update your PATH and CLASSPATH. You will end up with the
following directory structure (<jorblite-dir> is the directory in
which you installed JORB Lite):
<jorblite-dir>
