Product Level Migration Information
NonStop CORBA 2.3 combines three previous products (NonStop DOM 2.0, NonStop JORB 1.0, and
NonStop JTS/OTS 2.0) into a single product. It is no longer necessary to install the previous components
individually.
The following three migration sections are provided to help with ease in upgrading NonStop DOM,
NonStop JORB, NonStop JTS/OTS and NonStop CORBA 2.3 Update 1 to NonStop CORBA 2.3 Update
3 and later.
Note
NonStop CORBA 2.3 Update 3 through 6 require the NonStop Server for Java installation to be at
release 2.0 or 2.1. Update 7 requires NonStop Server for Java 3.0. If you are in doubt about which
version you require, check the SOFTDOC for your product version. During NonStop CORBA 2.3
installation, select the option to rebuild the JVM. This will rebuild the JVM with the latest version of
libnsdom.a.
