Installation Overview
To install the NonStop CORBA product you use installers running on your PC to place the NonStop CORBA components
on your HP NonStop S-Series server. As an alternative you can install directly on the NonStop system through the OSS
environment. Both installation methods are discussed in this section. After you complete installation on the NonStop
system, you use the HP NonStop Distributed Component Console installer to install the console on your PC. You may also
install additional optional software on your PC. When installation is complete you run the console software to start the
NonStop Services for CORBA processes. Sample programs can then be run to verify your installation.
Before You Begin the Installation
Review the readme file on the product CD to make sure you have the correct version for all products installed on
your NonStop S-Series server.
