SYSGEN-to-SCF Considerations
You use the SCF interface to the WAN subsystem to perform these functions. The
WAN subsystem and the SCF interface to the WAN subsystem are described in detail
in the WAN Subsystem Configuration and Management Manual.
SYSGEN-to-SCF Considerations
The System Generation (SYSGEN) program is not used for G-series and H-series
RVUs. This subsection explains how information that is configured in SYSGEN
CONFTEXT paragraphs on D-series systems is defined for G-series and H-series
RVUs.
CONFTEXT Paragraph Information
Table C-1 lists the CONFTEXT paragraphs that are relevant to CP6100 configuration
and how the information in each paragraph is defined for G-series RVUs.
For more information about WAN subsystem configuration, see the WAN Subsystem
Configuration and Management Manual. For more information about NonStop Kernel
subsystem configuration, see the SCF Reference Manual for the Kernel Subsystem.
Macro-Profile Comparison
For D-series systems, default values for CP6100 line types are contained in SYSGEN
macros. For G-series RVUs, profiles are used in a similar way. Table C-2 relates
CP6100 SYSGEN macros used on D-series systems to CP6100 profiles.
