Configuring the CP6100 Subsystem
This section provides an overview of the CP6100 subsystem and describes how to
configure the CP6100 subsystem on NonStop NS-series or NonStop S-series servers.

When configuring the CP6100 subsystem for NonStop NS-series or NonStop S-series
servers, keep in mind the following:
•
The System Generation (SYSGEN) program is not used to configure the CP6100
subsystem on Integrity NonStop NS-series or NonStop S-series servers.
•
The WAN subsystem is used to define and start the CP6100 subsystem. The
CP6100 subsystem must be started before you attempt to configure the CP6100
subsystem. Refer to the WAN Subsystem Configuration and Management Manual.
•
All configuring and monitoring of the CP6100 subsystem is now handled through
the Subsystem Control Facility (SCF).
•
For Integrity NonStop NS-series or NonStop S-series servers, only the following
CP6100 types and subtypes are supported:
