Adding a CP6100 Device
alt-cpu-num
is the CPU number where the backup device will normally execute.
clip-num
is the CLIP to be used by this device.
cpu-num
is the CPU number where the device will normally execute.
obj-file-name
is the name of the HP-supplied object file for the selected line type.
line-num
is the line number on the selected CLIP to be used by this device. line-num must
not have been previously selected for use by another device.
modifier-keyword and modifier-value
are the names of modifiers and their values for the CP6100 profile that is being
created.
existing-device-object
is the name of an existing device object.
existing-profile-name
is the name of an existing profile to be used as the base for creating a CP6100
device.
existing-device-name
is the name of an existing line device.
max-rec-size
is the maximum record size for the specified device.
type and sub-type
is the type and subtype for the specified device.
Example
The following is an example of specifying SWOUTCARRIER and FLAGIDLE when
adding a CP6100 ADCCP device on CLIP 1, LINE 1 to the WAN subsystem:
