ADCCP Modifiers
DSRTIMER n
This modifier specifies the time interval that the LIU waits for a data set ready (DSR)
signal to appear following a data terminal ready (DTR) signal. If DSR does not appear
before the interval expires, the function is terminated and DTR is reset. The default
timeout is 3 seconds. If n is 0, no interval occurs and the LIU waits indefinitely for DSR.
EXTENDED
This modifier specifies that an extended control field (2 octets) is to be used for frames
transferred at the link level. The standard control field (1 octet) is used if this modifier is
not specified. (The maximum window size is 7 frames for a standard control field; 127
for an extended control field.)
FLAGIDLE
This modifier specifies that flag characters are to be transmitted continuously between
frames. This modifier applies only to full-duplex lines without the SWOUTCARRIER
modifier. If FLAGIDLE is not specified, transmit data is held to continuous ones after a
frame is transmitted.
