ADCCP Modifiers
STARTDOWN
This modifier specifies that when the system is cold-started, the LIU is not logically
started but rather is left in the stopped state. You can use SCF to start the LIU. If you
specify this modifier you must also specify STARTBOOT.
STATIONS n
This modifier specifies the maximum number of stations to be supported and
determines the space allocated for level-2 control blocks. For ABM mode, the value is
forced to 1.
The STATIONS modifier applies only when a DEFINELIST function is issued from the
application with a 0 function parameter. The maximum DEFINELIST TEXTOUT size is
equal to STATION_COUNT * (ADDRESS_SIZE + 3).
SWINCARRIER
This modifier applies to full-duplex lines and specifies that when the DCD signal is
dropped the link is available for transmission.
SWITCHED
This modifier selects switched-line modem operation. In this case, the ADCCP protocol
task asserts DTR through the modem upon receipt of a MODEM CONTROL connect
