ADCCP Modifiers
WINDOW n
This modifier specifies the maximum number of I-frames that can be sent without
receiving an acknowledgment. The value of WINDOW depends on the value of the
MAXFRAME modifier.
XFERTIMER n
This modifier specifies a timer interval for the level-1 protocol. The timer clocks the
interval to wait until the transmission of a frame should be complete. The timer is
started when frame transmission starts with the raising of RTS, and is cleared when
frame output is completed. The value must be for an interval that is longer than the
sum of the following:
•
The transmission of a frame with an I-field of MAX_FRAME_SIZE bytes at the rate
of speed of the link
•
The clear-to-send (CTS) delay for the modem
XLENGTH n
This modifier specifies the number of bytes of the I-field to be translated, starting at the
offset specified by XOFFSET. A value of 0 causes all bytes from the offset to the end
of the I-field to be translated.
Default: n = 3
Units: None
Range: 1 through 7 (basic control mode)
1 through 127 (extended control mode)
