BSC Modifiers
BSCCONTROLCF
The BSCCONTROLCF modifier specifies that if half-duplex mode is used, the
bisynchronous driver waits for the data carrier detect (DCD) signal to drop before
raising the request to send (RTS) signal. The BSCCONTROLCF option is in effect if
you specify it at system generation or set it with a procedure call. You can also set the
BSCCONTROLCF modifier with the following SCF command:
SCF ALTER, BSC, CONTROLCF
If you do not set BSCCONTROLCF, the bisynchronous driver raises the RTS signal
when the local station is ready to send, disregarding the state of the DCD signal from
the remote station.
BSCDISCONNECTTO n
This modifier specifies the disconnect timeout for switched lines. This is the amount of
time the CP6100 is to wait for DSR to drop when disconnecting a switched line. This
modifier does not apply to leased lines.
BSCFULL
This modifier specifies a full-duplex line. For full-duplex lines, the RTS signal is always
asserted when the DSR signal is asserted, and CP6100 waits for the CTS signal
before transmitting. The RTS signal is off when the DTR signal is off.
