BSC Modifiers
BSCHALF
This modifier specifies a half-duplex line. For half-duplex lines, CP6100 raises the RTS
signal before each transmission and waits for the CTS signal before transmitting data.
The CTS signal drops after the RTS signal drops.
BSCIDEXCHG
This modifier specifies that ID exchange is to be performed when a connection is
established after the modem is connected. This applies to switched point-to-point
bisynchronous lines only. By default, this modifier is not in effect.
BSCINTERNALCLK
This modifier specifies that the LIU will supply the Tx clock out of Pin 24 (RS232C) and
determine the transmission speed. This modifier is typically used when two interfaces
are interconnected via a cable instead of a communications link. By default, the
modem supplies the Tx clock and determines the transmission speed.
BSCITBSIZE n
This modifier specifies how often intermediate blocking is to be performed when
transparent text is sent. The BSCITBSIZE modifier has no meaning when sending
normal text or when receiving normal or transparent text. A value of 0 means no
blocking is be performed.
