MPS-B Modifiers
When using the MULTI modifier, remember the following:
Do not mix asynchronous and synchronous lines.
Do not allow different data communications products to be controlled by the same
line-handler process.
NOAUTOCONF
This modifier causes the CP6100 line-handler process to send the current
configuration block to the LIU only in response to a WRITEREAD file-system request. If
NOAUTOCONF is specified in the profile file, SCF cannot alter the configuration, and
the modifiers contained in the profile file will have no effect. In such a case, the
application program must configure the line by using a WRITEREAD request. SCF
INFO commands will result in file-system error 160 (invalid state) until the line has
been specifically configured using a WRITEREAD request.
PROFILEID
This modifier keyword specifies the profile version. This is used to avoid IOPOBJECT
and Profile Version mismatch.
PROGRAM filename
This modifier supplies the simple file name of the NonStop Kernel microcode file to
substitute for the one defined by the profile.
