WARNING AND ERROR MESSAGES
This appendix contains a summary of all the warning and error
messages that CROSSREF generates.
WARNING MESSAGES
Warning messages indicate a minor discrepancy in the operation of
CROSSREF. CROSSREF continues to execute the command. Warning
messages are printed for your information.
Warning messages are either prefixed with "**** WARNING ****" or
displayed exactly as shown in this appendix.
Exclude list identifier not found in crossref - identifier
Cause: CROSSREF placed the specified identifier on the ex-
clude list but was unable to find any references to
exclude.
Recovery: This message merely informs you of the situation; no
action is required.
