CROSSREF COMMANDS
Example
• If any part of the specification is invalid or if the file
does not exist or cannot be opened, CROSSREF displays an error
message and does not change the current source for command
input.
• If CROSSREF detects an error while processing an OBEY file,
it closes the file and, in the case of nested OBEY files, any
other OBEY files currently open. If the original input file
was a terminal, CROSSREF issues a prompt on the terminal. If
the input file was not a terminal, CROSSREF terminates.
Example
In the following example, CROSSREF reads commands from the file
named INSPCOM:
